6-Piston Front Big Brake Kit

This sophisticated kit builds upon our Procomp series by incorporating larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, an increased piston count, and standard full-floating rotors for enhanced self-centering within the caliper. The calipers are precision-machined from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring lightweight construction, exceptional strength, and resistance to corrosion. Aluminum pistons are utilized for superior heat dissipation and reliable operation. This kit features a floating two-piece rotor design, standard on all Supercomp systems. The floating rotor's outer section allows for slight independent movement, improving self-centering within the caliper, reducing brake drag, and optimizing braking performance through more even pad application. Ksport also offers custom caliper color options, including standard painted finishes (Orange, Red, Black, Yellow) and premium high-polish options (Silver, Gold, Titanium), along with a vast array of custom color finishes. The kit includes SC5 Street Pads, designed for optimal braking in street and occasional track conditions, offering a 50% reduction in brake dust compared to race pads, along with reduced noise and rotor wear. D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are also standard, providing quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel by eliminating line expansion under pressure. Customers can choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily-driven vehicles as they run cooler, while slotted rotors are suggested for vehicles that will see more track time. It is important to note that Ksport Big Brake kits are built to order, with an estimated production and delivery time of 4-6 weeks. Fitment is specifically for the 1989-1994 Mitsubishi Eclipse FWD models.
