The calipers are constructed from a single billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring exceptional strength and light weight while resisting corrosion. Inside, aluminum pistons contribute to better heat resistance and reliable operation. The opposed piston caliper design improves pad wear and rigidity compared to OEM. This kit features two-piece rotors, which offer a lightweight design that minimizes unsprung mass and provides fade-free performance. Ksport offers a choice between slotted or cross-drilled rotors; slotted rotors are recommended for track use due to their superior heat dissipation and pad cleaning capabilities, while cross-drilled rotors are suggested for daily drivers as they tend to run cooler. The included SC5 Street Pads are designed for optimal performance in street and occasional track conditions, offering reduced brake dust (by 50% or more) and noise while operating effectively between 194°F and 1022°F. The kit includes CNC-machined carbon steel caliper brackets that allow the larger Ksport calipers to bolt directly into the OEM caliper mounting locations. Additionally, D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are standard, replacing flexible rubber lines to prevent expansion under pressure, resulting in a quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel. The Procomp Big Brake Kit is built to order, with production and delivery typically taking 4-6 weeks. This specific kit is designed for the 1991-1994 Nissan Sentra.
