The two-piece design allows for independent expansion and contraction, minimizing warping due to heat. The Procomp Big Brake systems include cross-drilled rotors, recommended for daily driven vehicles as they run cooler, and come standard with SC5 Street Pads. An upgrade to RCI Race Pads is available for those seeking maximum stopping power under extreme track conditions. Included in the standard kit are replacement calipers, 356x32mm rotors, street pads, DOT-compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, and necessary hardware. The braided lines reduce hose expansion under pressure, leading to quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel compared to stock rubber lines.
