The calipers are constructed from a single billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, offering exceptional strength, light weight, and resistance to corrosion. These calipers feature aluminum pistons, which provide superior heat resistance compared to standard materials, ensuring uncompromised operation even under demanding use. The opposed piston design of the 8-piston front calipers (standard on 13" and 14" systems) greatly improves pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM designs. Included are SC5 Street Pads, formulated with NAOC Ceramic material for optimal braking performance in street and occasional track use. These pads reduce brake dust by over 50% compared to race pads, while also minimizing noise and rotor wear. The kit also features D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which prevent line expansion under pressure, leading to quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel than stock rubber lines. Customization options are available, with calipers offered in standard colors like Orange, Red, Black, and Yellow, and premium finishes including Silver, Gold, Titanium, and Glassy/Hard Anodized Colors. Rotor options include Slotted or Cross Drilled, with Cross Drilled recommended for daily drivers due to better cooling, and Slotted recommended for track use. Ksport Big Brake kits are built to order, requiring an estimated 4-6 weeks for production and delivery. It is crucial to confirm fitment before ordering.
