The kit features one-piece forged, monoblock aluminum calipers CNC machined from aircraft-grade billet. These calipers are extremely lightweight, weighing just over 5lbs each, and incorporate differential bore configurations, machined protection grooves, aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates for durability and performance. The two-piece assembly can also feature a floating disc option to mitigate thermal stresses from extreme heat that could warp the disc or braking surface. Ksport's unique rotor slot design reduces braking noise and expels gas and pad debris more effectively than conventional designs. Each rotor is heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. For daily driven vehicles, cross-drilled rotors are recommended for cooler operation, while slotted rotors are advised for more frequent track use. Included with the kit are SC5 Street Brake Pads, formulated for optimal braking performance in street and occasional track conditions. These pads offer a significant reduction in brake dust (50% or more compared to race pads) while minimizing noise and rotor wear, with an optimal operating temperature range between 194°F - 1022°F. The kit also features D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which prevent hose expansion under pressure, leading to quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel compared to stock rubber lines. CNC machined carbon steel caliper brackets ensure a direct bolt-on installation to the OEM caliper bracket location. This specific kit is designed for the Front of the Toyota Celica ZZT231 (GT-S models with a 5x100 bolt pattern) from 2000 to 2006.
