The Ksport Procomp Big Brake Kit offers a significant upgrade in stopping power for your vehicle, integrating advanced brake technology to minimize brake fade and maintain optimal pad performance under high heat conditions. Each kit includes an extreme lightweight one-piece caliper, precision CNC machined from aircraft-quality billet, weighing just over 5 lbs. This caliper features a differential bore configuration, internal protection grooves for bridge tubes, aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design enhances both pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM setups, complemented by stainless-steel brake lines that resist expansion under pressure. Ksport utilizes a 2-piece disc assembly to reduce both rotating and unsprung weight. Many applications feature a floating disc option to mitigate thermal stresses and prevent warping or cupping of the braking surface. Every rotor undergoes heat treatment and balancing before shipment. While cross-drilled rotors generally run cooler and are recommended for daily drivers, slotted rotors are ideal for vehicles seeing more track use.
