The Ksport Supercomp Big Brake Kit provides the ultimate in stopping power for your vehicle, integrating new brake technology to reduce brake fade and refresh brake pad surfaces. Each caliper is CNC machined from aircraft-quality billet aluminum and features a differential bore configuration, weighing just over 5 lbs. It includes aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM systems, while stainless-steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. Ksport utilizes a 2-piece disc assembly to reduce both rotating and unsprung weight. Many applications offer a floating disc option to prevent thermal stresses from warping the disc. The unique slot design on the rotor effectively reduces braking noise and expels gas and pad debris faster than conventional designs. Rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. Slotted rotors are recommended for track use, while cross-drilled rotors are suggested for daily driven vehicles.
