The calipers are constructed from a single billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring lightweight strength and corrosion resistance, and feature aluminum pistons for superior heat management and consistent operation. Front kits utilize 8-piston calipers for 13" and 14" rotor systems, while rear kits offer 4-piston calipers for 13" and 14" systems, all designed to improve pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to stock components. The kits include CNC-machined carbon steel caliper brackets that facilitate direct bolt-on installation to the OEM caliper bracket locations. The two-piece rotors provide lightweight, fade-free performance and effective grip, suitable for both track and normal driving conditions. Standard caliper colors include Orange, Red, Black, and Yellow, with premium high-polish and custom color finishes available. Included SC5 Street Pads offer optimal braking for street and occasional track use, reducing dust by over 50% and minimizing noise and rotor wear, with an optimal operating temperature range of 194°F - 1022°F. D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are standard, preventing line expansion under pressure for quicker pedal response and a firmer feel. Customers can choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors; cross-drilled are recommended for daily drivers due to cooler running temperatures, while slotted rotors are recommended for track use. Ksport Big Brake kits are built to order, requiring an estimated 4-6 weeks for production and delivery. It is important to note that Ksport Big Brake kits generally fit 2WD vehicles only unless otherwise specified. Compatibility is confirmed for the 2000-2005 Honda S2000 AP1.
