The calipers are constructed from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring lightweight strength and corrosion resistance, and feature aluminum pistons for superior heat resistance. The opposed piston caliper design offers improved pad wear and rigidity compared to OEM systems. This kit includes high-performance two-piece rotors that provide lightweight, fade-free performance and effective grip, contributing to comfortable operation during normal driving. You can customize your rotors with either slotted or cross-drilled options. Slotted rotors are recommended for track use, while cross-drilled rotors are suggested for daily-driven vehicles due to their cooler running temperatures. The kit comes standard with SC5 Street Pads, which offer optimal braking performance for street and occasional track use. Additionally, D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are included, which prevent expansion under pressure, leading to quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel. Ksport Big Brake kits are built to order, with production and delivery typically taking 4-6 weeks.
