The calipers are constructed from a single piece of aircraft-grade aluminum, offering exceptional lightweight strength and corrosion resistance. Inside, aluminum pistons ensure superior heat management and consistent operation. Ksport's caliper designs are optimized for performance. Front kits utilize 6-pot calipers for 11" and 12" rotor sizes, while 8-pot calipers are standard for 13" and 14" rotor sizes. These opposed-piston designs markedly improve pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to factory components. Rear kits also feature lightweight aluminum calipers, with 2-pot options for smaller rotors and 4-pot for larger ones. Additionally, DOT-compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are included to eliminate line expansion under pressure, resulting in quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel. Customization is a hallmark of the Procomp system. Rotors can be specified as either cross-drilled, which tend to run cooler and are recommended for daily drivers, or slotted, which are better suited for track use. Calipers are available in various standard colors (Orange, Red, Black, Yellow) with options for premium high-polish finishes and custom color matching.
