The Stage 4 clutch kit is specifically engineered for dedicated race applications, including drag and road racing. This high-performance assembly is not intended for street use and utilizes an unsprung 6-puck MIBA ceramic disc alongside a heavy-duty single diaphragm pressure plate to provide maximum power control. Fitment is specific to the 2002-2006 Acura RSX: the 5-speed version is for the K20A3 engine, while the 6-speed version is for the K20A2/Z1 engines. Please note that the 5-speed clutch must be paired with a 5-speed flywheel. A professional break-in period is mandatory to retain the product warranty and ensure longevity, requiring 500 street miles keeping RPMs under 4500, with no more than half-throttle and no boost. The kit includes the ceramic disc, heavy-duty pressure plate, alignment tool, release bearing, and pilot bearing/bushing where applicable. Failure to resurface the flywheel will invalidate the product warranty. Users may experience clutch chatter, which typically diminishes after the break-in process.
