The COBB Tuning Subaru 6-Speed Double Adjustable Short Throw Shifter is engineered to provide a more precise and customizable shifting experience for compatible Subaru vehicles. Designed using CAD technology, its billet shifter body is CNC machined from 6061 aluminum and features a durable blue anodized finish. This shifter offers significant adjustability, allowing drivers to independently modify both the shift knob height and the shifter throw distance. The knob height can be adjusted from 1" higher to 1" lower, while the throw can be made 10% longer to 25% shorter after cutting the trim ring. These adjustments can be made with the shifter installed in the vehicle, offering convenience and fine-tuning capabilities. Constructed with steel socket head screws set in a counter bore for a flush mount, the shifter provides robust clamping force to securely hold the upper and lower slider shafts. This design ensures strength and reliability for enthusiastic gear changes.
