Description

The TREMEC TUET18132 Magnum XL is a 6-speed manual transmission engineered for GM platforms, offering a wide-ratio gear set. This transmission is designed to replace OEM 5 or 6-speed units, providing performance improvements for vehicles equipped with GM LS engine series. Key specifications include a torque capacity of 700 lb-ft, support for 7800 RPM shifts, and a direct-mount shifter. The gear ratios are as follows: 1st gear at 2.97:1, 2nd gear at 2.10:1, 3rd gear at 1.46:1, 4th gear at 1.00:1, 5th gear at 0.80:1, and 6th gear at 0.63:1. This transmission is compatible with various GM models including the Gen 5 Camaro, Gen 1/2 Cadillac CTS-V, and 2004-2006 GTO. It is also noted for its extended length and shift performance.
