6-Speed Sequential Gearbox

The Sadev ST90-17 is the latest innovation in their 2WD transverse gearbox range, specifically adapted for turbocharged engines like the 2.0L turbo. It is well-suited for Touring cars and GT cars. Constructed from high-strength carburizing steel with optimized, grinded gear teeth profiles, the ST90-17 utilizes straight-cut gears engaged by dogs. Internal parts undergo shot peening for durability, and the gearbox features interchangeable gear ratios and a wide range of available final drives. The clutch system is a 3-disc ramp and plate type (4-disc optional), with preload managed by compression springs. Additional features include inspection bungs, a splash lubrication system, an integrated oil pump, and painted AS7G aluminum casings sealed with O-rings. The unit weighs 36 kg (79 lbs) including the input shaft. Optional features available for the ST90-17 include semi-automatic gear selection, a low-friction limited-slip differential, a 4-disc clutch system, reverse locking solenoid, contactless gear position and flat shift sensors, and a temperature sensor. It also features a quick-release system for the differential cartridge and is compatible with various accessories such as gearlevers, gear displays, mounting plates, driven tripod flanges, hydraulic paddle-shifts, and drive shafts. The maximum engine torque capacity is 620 N.m.
