The Infinity REF-9633ix is a 6" x 9" (152mm x 230mm) three-way car speaker engineered to upgrade your vehicle's audio system with Infinity's signature sound. It incorporates patented Plus One™ glass fiber woofer cones, which are lighter and stiffer for increased low-frequency output and efficiency, alongside hi-roll rubber surrounds for enhanced performance. For crisp, clear high frequencies, the REF-9633ix features edge-driven textile dome tweeters. These tweeters provide a broader and smoother high-frequency response compared to conventional W-domes. Larger voice coils are utilized for optimized thermal power handling, ensuring low distortion and high reliability even at high volumes. The UniPivot tweeter design on most models allows for 270° rotation after installation, enabling adjustments for optimal soundstage and imaging. A push-button tweeter level control (+0 dB flat and +3 dB) is included for custom tuning of high frequencies. This speaker boasts a high output 2.5 ohm architecture with low impedance voice coils, designed to extract maximum power from your amplifier and deliver peak performance. This lower impedance also helps compensate for resistance in thin factory-installed wiring. With an ultra-high sensitivity of up to 96dB, these speakers can achieve high output with as little as 5 watts RMS, making them ideal for upgrading factory systems. The speakers undergo Harman Standard Reliability Testing, including extreme temperature, vibration, and power endurance tests, ensuring durability. The package includes one pair of 3-way speakers, speaker grilles, spacers, mounting hardware, and an owner's manual. These speakers come with a 1-year limited warranty.
