This Universal Combo Fuel Transfer Tank (71787) by RDS® is designed for transferring diesel fuel, gasoline, or aviation fuel from a pickup truck bed to remote or heavy equipment. It can also function as an auxiliary tank with an RDS diesel install kit (sold separately). Constructed from 1/8” heavy-duty bright aluminum, it resists rust and fuel contamination. The tank is DOT approved for road use. Features include a reinforced 2” female pipe thread coupling for manual or 12V transfer pumps (not included), a 2” fuel fill neck, drain fittings, baffles, a manual sight gauge, a rollover valve (safety vent), and mounting tabs. The integrated toolbox has linked stainless steel locks and two lift cylinders for the crowned lid. It features fully welded seams, is 100% pressure tested, and includes a 3/8” FTP drain plug and 3/16” heavy-duty aluminum mounting brackets. Made in U.S.A. Note: One source indicated 'Not intended for gasoline,' while another stated 'can be used to transport diesel, gasoline or aviation fuel.'
