60-Inch Ladder Bar Traction Bar Kit

The Wehrli Custom Fabrication traction bar kit is designed to eliminate dangerous axle wrap on 2001-2010 GM HD trucks. By controlling axle movement during high-torque acceleration, this kit prevents common mechanical failures including broken U-joints, driveshafts, and twisted axle housings. The bars feature a 60-inch length and are built with professional-grade materials, including Grade 8 hardware and a corrosion-resistant finish consisting of an epoxy primer base topped with a custom-selected in-house powder coat. The design utilizes a rebuildable, greaseable RockJock Johnny Joint heim connection at the frame mounting point, allowing for torsion adjustment and flexibility if the rear ride height is modified. To maintain street-friendly comfort, a heavy-duty polyurethane bushing is used at the axle connection to reduce noise and vibration compared to solid heim joints. The axle-side brackets bolt directly to the bottom of the axle tube via the U-bolts, while the frame-side mounts require welding for installation. This kit is specifically intended for Regular Cab Long Bed, Extended Cab Short Bed, and Crew Cab Short Bed models. It is not compatible with Extended Cab Long Bed or Crew Cab Long Bed trucks, which require part number WCF100852. Additionally, it is not for vehicles with lift kits where U-bolts face upward or where the rear lift block exceeds 5 inches; for these applications, use WCF100854 or WCF100852 respectively. For all competition applications, welding the front mounts is recommended for maximum strength.
