The Siemens DEKA IV fuel injector is a high-impedance, long-style injector featuring a USCAR EV6 connector. With a static flow rate of 60 lb/hr (630 cc/min) at 43.5 PSI and capable of flowing up to 85.7 lb/hr (900 cc/min) at 87 PSI, these injectors offer significant flow capacity. Despite their high flow rate, they remain linear and controllable at low pulse widths, allowing for use in ULEV applications and without negatively impacting idle and low-speed driveability. Their high-impedance design (12.5 Ohms) ensures compatibility with most ECUs without requiring ECM driver modifications. The multi-orifice tip produces a precise 30-degree spray cone, which optimizes fuel-air mixture preparation. This advanced spray pattern contributes to lower BSFC (Brake Specific Fuel Consumption) and improved idle quality compared to injectors with simpler spray patterns. The injectors come factory-fitted with durable Viton upper and lower O-rings for a reliable seal.
