6000-Series Hydraulic Release Bearing

This direct-acting unit eliminates lost motion from cable stretch or linkage flex. Its adjustable-height base is designed to fit over the OEM bearing retainer and is compatible with numerous transmission types, including Ford Tremec TKO/TKX/500/600, Ford T-5, Toploader (1 1/16″ x 10 input shaft), Tremec T56/Magnum (except P/N TUET11010), Ford Tremec Magnum (P/N TUET11010), GM Tremec TKO/500/600, GM Saginaw, and GM T-5, among others. The flat-faced bearing features a wide contact surface diameter ranging from 1.71" to 2.83", suitable for most 8 1/2" to 10 1/2" stock and high-performance street clutches. The assembled height is adjustable from 1 3/4" to 3", accommodating various clutch brands. A special anti-rotation bolt is included to secure the height adjustment by replacing a stock bearing retainer bolt. This hydraulic release bearing has a maximum travel of 0.70 inches, necessitating the use of a clutch pedal stop to prevent damage to the clutch and engine. Tilton recommends pairing this assembly with a 7/8" bore master cylinder, which is sold separately. AN4 pressure and bleed hoses are supplied with the unit.
