These hydraulic release bearings have been designed for ease of installation and maximum reliability, at a very competitive price. 6100-Series hydraulic release bearings are designed to mount onto the transmission input shaft bearing retainer, and are compatible with a variety of transmission types.

Tilton's 6000-Series hydraulic release bearings (also known as hydraulic throwout bearings or concentric slave cylinders) are engineered for both street performance and race reliability. These units are designed for straightforward installation and exceptional durability, offering a competitive price point. The 6100-Series bearings are mounted directly onto the transmission input shaft bearing retainer, making them compatible with a wide array of transmission types, including CHEVY SB/BB, TREMEC TKO/TKX/500/600, GM Saginaw, GM T-5, Ford Tremec TKO/TKX/500/600, Ford T-5, Toploader (1 1/16″ x 10 input shaft), and Tremec T56/Magnum (excluding Tremec P/N TUET11010), and Ford Tremec Magnum (P/N TUET11010). Their robust design ensures consistent clutch operation and smooth engagement. Installation typically involves setting the correct clutch clearance, as demonstrated in various professional and DIY guides.
