602 CRATE ENGINE

The JE Pistons SRP Pro 2618 line offers maximum piston strength at minimum cost, featuring extremely strong, 2618 forged aluminum material. These pistons are designed for GM 602 crate engines, being up to 20% lighter than traditional equivalent pistons. They utilize high-silicon 4032 aluminum alloy for reduced piston-to-wall clearance and quiet operation, along with accumulator grooves for improved ring seal. Each kit includes gas-nitrided, carbon-steel piston rings, pins, and locks, with a low-drag performance piston ring package (1.2mm top ring, 1.2mm steel 2nd ring, 3.0mm oil ring with Napier 2nd ring). JE pistons are designed, forged, and machined in-house for quality control.
