The Evolution Racewerks Charge Pipe Kit is engineered to replace the vulnerable factory plastic charge pipe found in BMW's F Chassis N20/N26 4-cylinder engines. Constructed from lightweight, high-grade 6061 aluminum with a brushed finish, this kit is built to withstand higher boost pressures and prevent the common failure associated with the OEM component. It directly addresses the issue of factory charge pipes breaking under increased boost, offering a durable and higher-flowing solution. Designed for optimal performance, the charge pipe features throttle body-matched 2.75" piping, ensuring smooth airflow and minimal obstruction compared to the factory 2.5" pipe. This upgrade contributes to increased throttle response and a decrease in turbo lag. The kit retains the factory-style o-ring throttle body lock flange, utilizing a precision CNC-machined flange for a leak-free connection that is quick and easy to engage or disengage, outperforming silicone hose and clamp alternatives. A precision CNC-machined MAP sensor flange is also included for a secure, leak-free connection. The charge pipe kit includes beaded ends and T-bolt clamps to ensure the intercooler piping remains securely in place under boost. Additionally, it features two pre-capped 1/8" NPT bungs, providing convenient ports for methanol injection, nitrous systems, or as a vacuum/boost source for gauges and other devices.
