6061 Aluminum Water Pump Kit

This kit replaces the bulky and heavy OEM accessories with a lightweight, CNC-machined 6061 aluminum block-off plate. It effectively deletes the OEM water pump, auto tensioner, power steering, A/C, and EP3 pulley, reducing parasitic drag on the engine. The water plate incorporates two O-ring seals for a secure fit without the need for Honda Bond, and the large coolant port is tapped for an -16AN thread, allowing for eight different positions with the custom fitting. The top bracket allows the alternator to pivot for proper belt tension adjustment. The system is intended for use with lighter D/B series alternators. The kit includes the water plate, hardware, alternator brackets, a custom water plate fitting, an alternator pulley, and a 7PK828 belt. Important compatibility notes apply: This product is made for Drag Racing Only. It excludes K24Z and K24Y series engines with a D/B Series alternator and does NOT fit the D17 alternator. The water pump included provides a 20 gallons per minute flow rating.
