These bushings are constructed with 6061-T6 aircraft grade aluminum sleeves and a U.S. Military Spec polyurethane compound available in 85A, 95A, or 75D hardness. They are manufactured under ISO 9001:2015 certified standards and CNC finished for a precise fit.

By preventing the trailing arms from moving, these bushings maintain consistent alignment and drastically improve vehicle performance. The original two-piece encapsulating design locks the trailing arms in place, eliminating unwanted movement along their axes to enhance performance. Constructed with 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum sleeves and AKG's exclusive U.S. Military Spec polyurethane compound, these bushings are built for durability and performance. Available in three durometers – 85A, 95A, and 75D – you can tailor the feel from an OEM+ upgrade to a purpose-built race car setup. The 75D compound, described as hard as a bowling ball yet possessing elasticity and memory, offers performance comparable to metal bushings without the harshness or deformation issues common with plastic alternatives like Delrin or UHMW. Manufacturing is performed in small batches, with each bushing precision molded and CNC finished to ensure a perfect fit and adherence to ISO 9001:2015 certified standards. Installation is described as straightforward, requiring only simple tools. They are stronger and more durable than the competition, utilizing proprietary raw stock poly that costs up to five times more than that used by other manufacturers. AKG Motorsport stands behind their product with a lifetime replacement warranty, provided the part is properly installed in the original vehicle.
