60AMP MARINE CONVERTER/CHARGER

The Progressive Dynamics PD2160V is a 12V 60-amp, 3-bank marine charger converter. It features a microprocessor-controlled four-stage smart charging system (BOOST, NORMAL, STORAGE, or EQUALIZE) that constantly monitors battery voltage and automatically selects the proper charging mode. This unit is designed to charge and monitor batteries while in use or in storage. It is ignition protected and designed for continuous usage. The 2100 series converter chargers can be connected in parallel for additional current for 12V systems or in series for 24V charging. It has built-in automatic thermal protection to reduce output to safe levels if the unit temperature exceeds pre-set limits. The unit also features reverse polarity protection, over and under-voltage protection, electronic current limiting, and a variable-speed cooling fan. Using the charge mode button on the face of the unit, it can be easily programmed for Flooded Lead Acid, AGM, or gel-cell batteries.
