The Modern Performance MPx 60mm Throttle Body serves as an upgraded solution for performance-minded drivers, featuring a straight-through 60mm bore that flows roughly 25% more air than the factory 52mm throttle body. Each unit is machined from billet aluminum in the USA and utilizes a stainless steel dual-sided throttle shaft for durability. The black anodized finish provides a protective barrier against grease, dirt, and chemicals. No aftermarket tune is required, as the engine control module will automatically relearn and adjust parameters after installation. While it bolts directly to the factory intake manifold, port matching the manifold to the 60mm bore is recommended for maximum performance. Users can also customize the pedal feel by adjusting the throttle spring location. This product is strictly for manual transmission vehicles. It does not work on automatic transmission 1995-1999 Dodge/Plymouth Neons or 1995-1999 Mitsubishi Eclipses, and it is not compatible with 2000-2005 Dodge/Plymouth Neons or 2003-2005 Dodge SRT-4 models. For vehicles with removed interior carpet or sound deadening, extra caution is required to prevent excessive pedal travel that could damage the throttle linkage; adding shims or a replacement high-strength throttle shaft is recommended in these cases.
