The AIRTEC Motorsport ATINTMINI05 intercooler upgrade is engineered to enhance the performance of the MINI Cooper S F56 by significantly lowering charge air temperatures. When a car is remapped for increased power through ECU changes that raise boost pressure, intake temperatures rise, leading to potential power loss. This uprated intercooler combats that by reducing intake temps, which in turn increases horsepower and makes the engine safer. The intercooler utilizes a 60mm thick race-spec bar and plate core, designed for super-fast recovery times. Its thin-wall cast alloy end tanks feature a "Super flow" design, with no sharp corners that could impede airflow. The unit is a direct bolt-on application, meaning no extra modifications are required for installation. AIRTEC provides a 3-year unlimited mileage warranty with this intercooler. Approximate dimensions are 800mm in width, 210mm in height, and 60mm in thickness. It is available in a motorsport finish silver or a stealthy pro-series black. Please note that this intercooler will not fit the JCW (John Cooper Works) models.
