Currie Enterprises universal 61" heavy-duty round-back rear end with 31 spline flanged axles. Features a 9-Plus roundback heavy-duty housing and 31 spline performance axle package. Overall width is 61" (measured outside-of-axle-flange to outside-of-axle-flange). The housing is built with the pinion centered and uses steel 3" diameter tubes. It requires a 9" Ford 3rd member (chunk). Axles include both 5 x 4 1/2" and 5 x 4 3/4" wheel bolt patterns. One set of 7/16" studs and one set of 1/2" studs are included. It has 1/4" thick heavy-duty bearing retainer plates and tapered Timken style wheel bearings pressed on. The axle flanges are Big Bearing Ford (new style), also known as "Torino."
