Description

The Melling M-68 is a standard volume, standard pressure oil pump designed for small block Ford engines. It features billet steel gears and CNC-machined housings and covers with a manganese phosphate coating for enhanced wear and rust resistance. This pump is built to support the drive shaft in both the housing and cover, which eliminates dynamic shaft deflection at increased RPMs. The cover is doweled to the pump housing for precise alignment of the shaft bores. The relief valve is a pressure-adjustable screw-in plug, and the pump is compatible with original bolt-on pickup screen assemblies.
