AFCO's 81 Series Stock Mount Shocks are gas shocks designed for dedicated shock tuners, offering a stock mount option without requiring extensive equipment for servicing. Engineered for GM A/G Body Style cars, they fit in original locations with optimized lengths for IMCA and other sanctioning body regulations. Available in front and rear mounts with multiple valving choices, they can be custom built. Specifically for Southern Sport Mod, Hobby Stock, and Street Stock cars, the large body front shocks feature a 44mm piston to reduce fade and heat. Multiple piston options allow for fine-tuned valving. Shorter front shocks lower the car for improved stability and control, while 21” extended-length rear shocks enhance handling and provide better forward bite.
