64-73 Mustang Elite Shorty Header

1964-73 For Mustang, 351W Engine Swap Headers, 1-5/8 In. Mid-Length Tube Design, 3 In. Collector. These headers are part of Hedman's ELITE line, featuring stout 3/8" flanges and thicker 14 gauge primary tubes for heavy-duty construction. They have a Matte Silver ceramic finish that withstands temperatures up to 1400 degrees F, which helps in faster exhaust speeds and reduced underhood temperatures. Designed for swapping a 351W engine into (non-factory 351W equipped) 1964-73 Ford Mustang, Falcon, or '66-73 Ranchero, Torino, with the engine centered between the framerails. They fit both automatic and manual transmissions (clutch and shift linkage may require modification). The smooth 1-5/8 in., oval port tube design clears shock towers and provides superior exhaust flow. Each set includes a pair of gaskets, header flange bolts and collector bolts. No collector gasket is needed.
