The Ryan's DM-L5P-64NA turbocharger is engineered as a direct upgrade for 2017-2023 GM L5P Duramax Diesel trucks, specifically the Chevrolet Silverado/GMC Sierra 2500/3500 HD models. This unit is built and balanced in-house by Ryan's Diesel Service, incorporating multiple exclusive components to enhance performance. Key features include an RDS exclusive 64mm 6-blade dual-plane compressor wheel, rated at 72 lbs/min, and an RDS exclusive 72.50mm x 67mm 10 or 9-blade high-flow turbine wheel. To address issues with the factory turbine wheel size, this turbo utilizes a modified vane cage and a larger turbine wheel for improved exhaust gas temperature (EGT) and boost-to-drive pressure control. The turbo also features upgraded bearings and oil piston rings, while retaining the factory exhaust brake functionality. It is a brand new unit with no core charge. This turbocharger is designed to be a drop-in replacement, suitable for daily driver and tow rig setups, with an expected capability of 650-700 WHP with proper modifications. It is important to note that this turbo **must swap your factory actuator over**. If an actuator is needed, part number DM-L5P-64R should be purchased. For warranty purposes, customers must select one of the specified tuning companies (PPEI, MOTOR-OPS, DURAMAX TUNER, or OTHER) for calibrations.
