65-66 Mustang Steering Column Paintable

This steering column is designed for 1965-66 Ford Mustang models and features all Ford wiring and a Ford top shaft. The "rack version" is made 1" shorter to reduce the U-joint angle when used with a rack & pinion system. It has a collapsible inner shaft. Installation involves removing the old column and utilizing the original under-dash mount. A new column-specific floor mount is included. It is compatible with a stock Mustang wheel, maintaining the original gripping surface location. Not compatible with the 1965-66 factory Rally Pac gauge cluster. If using a Borgeson power-assisted box on any year Mustang, the column will need to be shorter.
