The Forge Motorsport Boost Pipe (FMBP7) is engineered to enhance the performance of select Hyundai N models by optimizing airflow between the intercooler and the throttle body. This upgrade replaces the restrictive stock pipe with a larger, 66mm internal diameter, mandrel-bent alloy hard pipe. This increased bore, a 20% improvement over the factory 55mm pipe, is designed to facilitate smoother air transition from the cold side of the intercooler, leading to faster turbo spool-up and a more responsive power delivery, especially beneficial for vehicles with aftermarket tuning. Constructed with premium materials, the boost pipe features a single-piece mandrel-bent aluminum construction and is complemented by CNC-machined billet couplers and alloy bosses. These precisely machined components ensure a secure fit and minimize airflow disruption. For added versatility, the pipe includes a 1/8th NPT port for the installation of water-methanol injection or nitrous systems, offering tuners and enthusiasts an avenue to further manage inlet air temperatures and maximize power potential. For optimal performance, it is recommended to pair this boost pipe with an aftermarket intercooler that has an outlet size between 63-67mm (cold side), as it will not work with the OEM intercooler. It is compatible with Forge's own intercoolers for the Hyundai i30N MK3.5, Veloster N Facelift (including DCT), and Kona N.
