67 WIDE ALUM SIDE BOX

The RKI S series boxes mount on the side rail of your pickup truck, leaving the truck bed open for maximum storage space. They feature weather-resistant seals to resist dirt and moisture for the most extreme working conditions. All aluminum S series truck boxes include aluminum mounting brackets. The hull of the box is constructed of .080 diamond treadplate aluminum, with the bottom made of .125 smooth aluminum and welded in with full arc welds. The lid is constructed of .080 diamond treadplate aluminum with an inner stiffener of .090 smooth aluminum, and attached with three 4" aluminum butt hinges with 1/4" hinge pins, all welded to the box and lid. It includes full-length small parts storage in the front, a full-size stainless steel paddle latch recessed into the hull, and two keys. The lid is equipped with a gas pressure shock for one-hand opening, and a ribbed D-Bulb seal for a tight closure. Mounting hardware includes an extruded aluminum mounting clamp that eliminates drilling through the pickup bed rail, with a plastic isolator to prevent scratching and galvanic corrosion.
