The Precision 6870 Series Turbocharger is engineered with the latest advancements in compressor and turbine wheel technology, featuring Precision's exclusive Competition Engineered Aerodynamics (CEA®) on both hot and cold sides. This design offers a significant increase in horsepower compared to similarly sized turbos, making it an ideal choice for those seeking enhanced performance without modifying their existing setup. At its core, the PT6870 GEN2 CEA® boasts a 68mm inducer compressor wheel machined from a 2618-aluminum forging, paired with an exclusive CEA® 70mm turbine wheel. This combination results in higher efficiency and faster transient response, translating to maximum power and performance. The turbocharger is exclusively offered with an air-cooled, dual ceramic ball-bearing center housing rotating assembly (CHRA) for reliability and sustained performance. Customers can select from multiple compressor cover options, including the "Ported S" with a 4.0″ inlet and 2.5″ outlet, or the "Ported H" with a 4.0″ inlet and 3.0″ outlet. Turbine housing choices include T4 Undivided options (.68, .81, or .96 A/R) and T4 Divided options (.84, 1.0, 1.15, or 1.32 A/R), with potential additional costs for certain housings.
