68RFE 300 BILLET OD CLUTCH HUB INTERMEDIATE SHAFT

The RevMax 68RFE One-Piece Forged Billet Overdrive Clutch Hub and Shaft Assembly is designed to be a stronger and more durable alternative to the OEM part. It is hot forged as a single unit from 4340M/300M steel, which is significantly stronger than the stock 4130 steel. This one-piece design eliminates the friction weld found in two-piece OEM and competitor shafts, removing a potential point of failure. The shaft is compatible with all 68RFE transmissions, stock or modified, from 2007.5-2022. It offers increased clutch capacity and allows for custom clutch stack configurations when paired with RevMax's 9x or 12xR drums, accommodating both single-sided and double-sided frictions for maximum durability under high power. Features include the ability to run full thickness pressure plates while increasing clutch capacity by 28%, up to 50% more clutch capacity when using the industry standard .100" machined OD/Rev pressure plate, longer clutch hub length allowing installation of up to 20 single sided or 8 double sided frictions, precision ground bushing surfaces, and shot peened lubrication holes to prevent stress cracks. It can be installed in a 100% OEM stock transmission without any modifications or into a transmission that incorporates any current aftermarket drum assembly.
