68RFE M3GA JR V2 DRUM

The SunCoast Performance 68RFE M3GA JR V2 Drum is a billet aluminum replacement designed to address common failures in the 68RFE transmission. It offers a 24% improvement in hydraulic clamping force over the factory drum and increased friction surface area for improved power handling. Key features include increased friction elements in overdrive, a quad-ring design of the inner drum o'ring to maintain compression during high RPMs, consistent factory-like CVI's, a new lip seal style for the outer sealing surface with increased diameter, and increased wall thickness for improved drum rigidity and reduced lateral movement in the overdrive apply plate. It is a completely assembled drop-in replacement with no centrifugal apply springs. This drum has been tested with over 1,000 horsepower.
