69 High-Flow Air Filter w/ Heat Shield

The K&N Typhoon Cold Air Intake System is engineered to replace the restrictive factory air filter and intake housing in your 2022-2024 Subaru BRZ or 2022-2024 Toyota GR-86. At the heart of the system is K&N's washable and reusable High-Flow Air Filter™, constructed with oiled cotton filter media for exceptional filtration and airflow. To combat heat soak and maintain performance, the kit includes a custom-designed heat shield and an adhesive heat barrier, which work together to shield the intake air from the high temperatures within the engine bay. The K&N Typhoon intake system is guaranteed to increase horsepower and torque, with K&N testing showing an estimated gain of 8.3 HP at 6497 RPM. The aluminum intake tube is finished in a gunmetal gray, complementing the red air filter. The filter requires cleaning only every 100,000 miles under normal highway driving conditions, and typical installation can be completed in 90 minutes or less using simple hand tools.
