Description

The K&N 69 Series Typhoon air intake system is engineered to maximize airflow and performance for compact, sport, and muscle cars. It features a free-flowing, mandrel-bent aluminum tube paired with an oversized, high-flow oiled cotton air filter. This design prevents air restrictions found in factory intakes, allowing your engine to breathe more freely and efficiently. The large surface area of the K&N filter effectively captures dust and dirt, ensuring clean air enters the engine. Each system is tested on a dynamometer to verify performance gains, with a stated increase of up to 5.71 HP at 5700 RPM for the 2006-2011 Honda Civic application. The Typhoon air intakes are available in multiple designs, including short ram, cold air, and complete cold air configurations, and can be found in various finishes to match your vehicle's aesthetic. All necessary hardware and instructions are included, allowing for a convenient at-home installation that typically takes 60 minutes or less. The K&N 69 Series Typhoon air intake system is also 50-state legal and is backed by K&N’s “No-Hassle” Limited Lifetime Warranty, covering defects in materials and workmanship.
