The K&N 69-9504TTK-KN is a performance air intake system designed to provide a guaranteed increase in horsepower and torque. It features a mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube and a washable, reusable High-Flow Air Filter made with oiled cotton filter media. The oversized, conical filter allows for service intervals of up to 100,000 miles under normal highway driving conditions. A custom heat shield or air box is included to protect intake air from engine bay heat, and the system typically installs in under 60 minutes.

The K&N 69 Series Typhoon Cold-Air Intake System is engineered to deliver a guaranteed increase in horsepower and torque by replacing your vehicle's entire factory air intake with a free-flowing aluminum tube and a high-flow air filter. This system utilizes a washable and reusable cotton gauze air filter, featuring an oiled media for optimal filtration and airflow. The kit includes all necessary clamps and couplers for installation, with an estimated installation time of 90 minutes or less. Key features include an estimated horsepower gain of 9.19 HP at 4853 RPM and a torque gain of 10 lb-ft. The red, round air filter has a replacement part number of RX-4730XD and is designed to last up to 100,000 miles before requiring service, depending on driving conditions. K&N backs this system with a Million Mile Limited Warranty. This intake system is compatible with various Audi A3 and Volkswagen models, including the 2008-2013 Audi A3, 2009-2017 Volkswagen CC, 2009-2013 Volkswagen Eos, 2009-2013 Volkswagen GTI, and 2009-2013 Volkswagen Jetta GLI, all with the 2.0L engine. Some K&N intakes may not be legal for sale or use on pollution-controlled motor vehicles in California; always check the product's CARB status for specific vehicle applications, though this particular system has a CARB EO Number D-269-43.
