Description

The K&N 69 Series Typhoon is a complete cold-air intake system designed to boost horsepower and torque by replacing your vehicle's factory air filter and intake tube. It features a durable, mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube with a black finish, paired with a large, conical, oiled cotton gauze air filter. The oversized, reusable air filter requires servicing only every 100,000 miles under normal highway driving conditions. A custom heat shield is included to protect the intake air from high engine bay temperatures. The system typically installs in 90 minutes or less using basic hand tools. K&N backs this intake with a No-Hassle Lifetime Limited Warranty and states that it will not void your vehicle's warranty. This specific K&N Typhoon kit (69-8010TTK) is noted as not being legal for sale or use on any pollution-controlled motor vehicle in California, and is also not street legal in all US states.
