The K&N High-Flow 69 Series Typhoon air intake system is a cold-air intake system designed to replace your vehicle's factory air filter and intake tube. It guarantees an increase in horsepower and torque, featuring a mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube coupled with an oversized, oiled cotton gauze High-Flow Air Filter. This system is part of K&N's 69 Series Typhoon Kits and boasts a silver-finished aluminum intake pipe. The red-colored air filter is washable and reusable, requiring cleaning only every 100,000 miles under normal highway driving conditions. The kit includes stainless steel clamps and mounting hardware, with an estimated installation time of 60 minutes or less using simple hand tools. This intake system is street legal in all 50 US states and carries a No-Hassle Lifetime Limited Warranty, which K&N states will not void your vehicle's warranty. Specifications include an estimated horsepower gain of 6.36 HP at 5347 RPM and an estimated torque gain of 6 lb-ft. The replacement filter for this system is part number RU-4730. The CARB EO Number is D-269-81. The system weighs 9 lbs and comes in a product box measuring 12.5 x 22.25 x 14.25 inches.
