The K&N 69-8609TTK Typhoon Performance Air Intake System is engineered to significantly increase horsepower and acceleration in sport compacts and muscle cars. This system replaces the factory air filter and intake tube with a high-flow, mandrel-bent aluminum tube and K&N's prominent X-Stream cotton gauze air filter. Its cotton gauze construction is washable and reusable, meaning it can be cleaned and re-oiled for a virtually limitless lifespan, reducing waste and saving money over time. The textured black finish of the aluminum intake pipe offers a sleek look under the hood. This cold-air intake system is designed for easy installation, typically taking 60 minutes or less with basic hand tools. It includes all necessary hardware, such as stainless steel clamps and silicone hoses. K&N backs this system with a 10-Year/Million Mile Limited Warranty, underscoring its commitment to quality and durability.
