Overview

The B&M 80740 is a Unimatic shifter cable designed for use with B&M Unimatic shifters. This 6-foot cable features a blue, long lay thermoplastic jacket and a spiral wound steel strand for durability. It has an overall cable length of 72 inches and includes eyelet and threaded cable ends.

The cable is pre-lubed for smooth operation and properly clearanced to reduce backlash. It has a large 0.250-inch diameter.

Part #: 80740

This is the 6-ft version of the Blue Jacket cable for B&M Unimatic shifters that we recommend for Mopar applications. The cable comes pre-lubed for smooth operation, is properly clearanced to reduce backlash and has a large .250-inch diameter blue "long lay" (stiffer, less prone to kinking) outer jacket for durability. We recommend using the 5-foot length Unimatic shift cable for most Ford and GM applications. Note: This cable is for B&M Unimatic shifters only.
