The SunCoast Guardian Diesel 6R140 Torque Converter is designed for the Ford 6R140 platform to address chronic captive clutch failure. It features furnace-brazed fin construction, utilization of the factory damper assembly, an improved spring system, SunCoast ADCCT Anti-Drag Captured Clutch Technology, a new torque converter clutch, custom turbine and pump angle manipulation, a custom rigid backing plate to reduce deflection, new Torrington thrust bearing construction, and is precision balanced dynamically. Manufactured and tested in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, USA. Ideal for heavy towing or work vehicles prioritizing reliability. Does not come with a billet cover.
