6R140 Stage 1 Automatic Transmission

The Tier One Stage 1 6R140 transmission is a rebuilt unit engineered to handle significant power increases in your 2011-2014 Ford F250 or F350 Super Duty equipped with the 6.7L Powerstroke or gas engine. This transmission is built to support up to 600 horsepower, making it suitable for aggressive Powerstroke tuning, bolt-on performance upgrades, and even upgraded turbochargers. This Stage 1 transmission is constructed with an increased clutch count, upgraded internal components to reduce heat, and a welded input shaft to prevent cracking under high power loads. It includes a rebuilt OE-style torque converter for reliable operation, a new OEM pump and valve body for long-term dependability, and a deep cast aluminum transmission pan that increases fluid capacity to help manage temperatures during heavy towing or high-performance driving. The transmission features a black finish and offers firmer shifting than the stock unit. Tier One rebuilds these transmissions by disassembling and cleaning all components from OEM cores, inspecting the planetary geartrain, and testing solenoids. A new OEM wiring harness, new seals, and gaskets are included. The transmission undergoes rigorous testing, including an air-check for leaks, before shipping. Please note that recommended gearing is required for warranty validation (3.73 or higher for 35" tires, 4.10 or higher for 37" tires, 4.56 or higher for tires larger than 38").
