The BD Diesel 6R140 Transmission Pressure Controller is engineered to significantly improve the performance and durability of the 6R140 transmission in 2011-2019 Ford F250 and F350 models equipped with the 6.7L Powerstroke engine. This advanced controller delivers up to 300psi of line pressure at wide-open throttle, offering a substantial 76% increase in theoretical holding power. This enhanced pressure helps prevent clutch wear and premature failure, making it an ideal upgrade for towing, street, and race applications, thereby increasing the overall longevity of the transmission. Unlike simpler solenoid foolers or plugs that are constantly active, the BD Diesel 6R140 Pressure Controller is intelligently designed to be operational only when turbo boost pressure exceeds 15psi. This means it does not create a parasitic load or generate extra heat when inactive, and it does not cause clunky or unusual shifting behavior. The installation process is straightforward and can typically be completed in under an hour and a half. This product is legal for sale and use in all 50 states and does not require an EO in California.
