Description

The Power By The Hour 6R80 Shifter Lever Stop Bracket is a component designed to optimize the functionality of the 6R80 Automatic Transmission. This bracket limits the travel of the shifter lever, preventing it from engaging positions that the PCM (Powertrain Control Module) may not recognize. This is particularly useful when using shifters with more gear selections than the PCM supports, such as in coyote swaps utilizing a 4R70W shifter with a 2013-up Coyote PCM. It ensures the lever travel at the transmission does not exceed the PCM's recognized range, like limiting to 'S' or '2' when the PCM only recognizes 'P-R-N-D-S'.
