6"x9" 2-Way High-Output Convertible Speakers

The Rockford Fosgate Punch P2V2-69HO is a pair of 6"x9" 2-way high-output convertible speakers engineered for both direct OEM replacement and custom audio upgrades. These speakers offer significant flexibility, allowing them to be installed as a coaxial system for a quick drop-in fit or as a 2-way component system with separate tweeters for enhanced staging and imaging. The Interchangeable Locking Mechanism (I.L.M.) enables easy configuration between coaxial and component setups, giving installers control over tweeter placement. Constructed with robust materials, these speakers feature a 15% glass-fiber reinforced PA66 injected molded composite basket, a mica-reinforced polypropylene woofer cone for enhanced rigidity, and a Santoprene™ half-roll surround for low distortion and fatigue resistance. The 3/4” (19 mm) Tetolon® inverted dome tweeter is designed for reliable performance and clear high-frequency reproduction. The speakers are CTA-2031 compliant, with a power handling of 75 Watts RMS and 150 Watts peak. The high-strength Y35 ferrite motor structure and a larger motor provide increased output and deeper bass, complemented by VAST 2.0™ technology for a 25% increase in cone area. Designed with Auto Fit Architecture, the P2V2-69HO ensures seamless integration into modern vehicles with updated mounting flanges for direct fitment in most factory locations. The removable motor cover further aids installation in tight applications. The kit includes two 3/4" 4Ω tweeters, two 6.5" 4Ω convertible speakers, two crossovers, a tweeter removal tool, and installation hardware. Grilles are sold separately.
